That does not automatically mean the factory used a defective zipper. The installed zipper is part of a system: zipper chain, slider, tape, stitch position, lining, seam allowance, padding, opening shape and the load inside the bag all affect how the slider moves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fastest way to solve the problem is to identify where the resistance comes from. The required clearance is not one universal number. At a tight radius, the inside tape compresses while the outside tape must travel farther. Push the lining away with a finger and run the slider again.
